2017 Homecoming Dress Trends

Even though it is July, I know that some more than others like to plan ahead. As dreadful as school is, there are some benefits out of it! I know, I know, education obviously, but you don't get to dress up like a princess everyday! As school approaches, and before all the homecoming dresses are over picked, I thought I'd give you a head start!
Tulle - Tulle fabric is very elegant and royal. This specific dress has a ballet inspired skirt, while it it still sophisticated and comfortable.
Sequins - Forget the disco ball, cause you'll be the star in this dress! While sequins stand out on a dress, they also give it a lot of class and a pop of shimmer.
Jumpsuits - Who said you HAVE to wear a dress at homecoming? The benefit of wearing a jumpsuit is you don't have to worry about constantly pulling a dress down every 10 seconds, and it will keep you warm! I know that it is a risk to wear a jumpsuit because it's not the "traditional" dress, but trust me in the long run it will be totally worth it.
A-Line Dresses - Personally, I am absolutely in love with these! These dresses are most of the time very figure flattering. The A-Line dress starts below the natural waist which slims the hips and gradually begins to flare out from the bottom forming an "A" shape.
Two-Piece Dresses - The two-pieced dress has several advantages. It’s easier to fit a two piece dress when you wear different sizes on the top and bottom.Sleeved options are more abundant.There is extra mix and match versatility because you can wear the pieces with other separates.Fit can be more forgiving on the midsection because of a structured skirt waistband and untucked top.In some ways, the visual effect of two pieces is more interesting than a one-piece dress, and almost makes you do a double take. Look at that dress! No, it’s a skirt and top. No it’s a dress!
V-Necks - The v-neck dress is personally my favorite dress to wear. This style is very flattering because it elongates the neck where as a high neckline shortens the neck, it narrows the width of the shoulder line by accentuating vertical integrity, and a shorter person looks more proportioned because of its elongating and vertical qualities.
